Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on homesocool.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. To be valid, your notice must include:

We will review your notice and, if it meets the requirements above, remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that content you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a DMCA counter-notification. To be valid, your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed or disabled, and the location where it appeared before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original DMCA notice or their agent

Send your counter-notification to the same email address: hello@homesocool.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notification.”

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who filed the original takedown notice. If that party does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the removed content.

Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to terminate access to the Site for users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

False Claims

Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice or counter-notification may result in legal liability. Before filing, make sure you have a good faith belief that the content in question infringes your copyright (or was removed in error).
